Ingredients
- 2 cups of Re Natural or Dark Berry yoghurt
- 1 cup mixed fruits (such as strawberries, blueberries, mango, or banana)
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for enhanced flavor)
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Fruit
Wash and prepare your fruits. If using strawberries or mango, remove the stems or peel and chop them into chunks. Bananas should be peeled and sliced. -
Blend the Fruit and Yogurt
In a blender, combine the yogurt, prepared fruit, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract if using. Blend until the mixture is smooth and evenly combined. -
Prepare the Molds
If you have silicone molds or an ice cube tray, these work perfectly for this recipe. Alternatively, you can use a mini muffin tin. If using a muffin tin or ice cube tray, you might want to line it with plastic wrap for easier removal of the bites. -
Fill the Molds
Spoon or pour the blended yogurt mixture into the molds. Fill them to the top as they won’t rise or expand. -
Freeze the Yogurt Bites
Place the molds in the freezer and freeze until the bites are solid, at least 4 hours or overnight. -
Serve
Once frozen, pop the yogurt fruit bites out of the molds. If they are difficult to remove, run the bottom of the molds under warm water for a few seconds to loosen them.
